The modern generation is full of very capable young minds–from entrepreneurs, content creators, artists and a lot more. Making a living from travelling, writing, cafe hopping, and trying out different products was made easy because of  the technology. But given the help of it, a creative mind and a consistent effort are what it takes for individuals in this field to make their own path and build their names.

Chelsea Robato, Born in Guam, started her career in the Philippines as a model for brands, runways and even commercials. You might have seen her face in billboards, beauty products and even on TV. Her career as a model marked her name in the industry and as of the moment, she still continues to make her own path and influence people with her fashion, lifestyle and travel content. And with more than half a million followers on her Instagram account, this empowering woman who is also an advocate of supporting local brands, is ready to see more and share more good vibes through her content.

Let’s get to know more about this talented gal through a series of Q&A with Fair Magazine.

Q: What is your idea of beauty?
A: My idea of beauty is people who are confident. When people are confident, they feel beautiful with what they wear, with what they are doing and with the choices they make in life. A person, for me, is beautiful when he or she is happy. It shows.

Q: How would you want your influence to be about?
A: Happiness. I like to spread positivity and good vibes. My content is a mix of everything. I like to share what I think is interesting and the things that I personally like.

Q: As a content creator, what are the top 5 things you cannot leave the house or travel without?

  1. Camera & Cellphone
  2. Tripod
  3. Skin care
  4. Supplements & / Vitamins
  5. Workout Clothes / outfits

Q: How do you maintain authenticity?

A: I like to share on my platform about the things I genuinely like— food that I like to eat, clothes I like to wear and stuff I like to use. I share MOST of my life on Instagram, be it my professional side, bloopers and even some things I am too shy to share.

Q: Given your platform, how do you empower other women?

A: I am all for Independent Women. I share what I can about being able to travel, being an entrepreneur and being healthy. I usually promote (mostly) female entrepreneurs, and locally owned businesses. I try my best to respond to women who message and reach out to me, especially younger women who are curious and want to know more about my diet, fitness routines, sports outfits and daily life.

Q: Any advice to aspiring content creators or other content creators like you?
A: Spread Happiness & Positivity! Keep creating content based on what You like.
