Being an influencer or a content creator can be a demanding job. It surely requires a lot of hard work, time, patience and creativity too – and to stand out among the others is a different story. There are expectations from creators themselves and meeting their goals through their followers.

Nowadays, in our daily life, the things we do and the things that interest us are somehow more often than not, subtly influenced by the people We surround ourselves with. Now that We live in a digital age, it is what we do online, how much time we spend online for leisure and for work, who we follow and why we follow them – these are some factors that could also have an indirect impact on our lifestyle and choices in everyday life.

When the Pandemic hit the Globe, people from all around the world switched to a healthier lifestyle. From diet, daily routines, exercise, some even switched their beauty products to healthier options and more have been opting to be environment friendly too. This is why for the Month of July, for FAIR Beauty, We have an exclusive interview through a series of Q&A with Ms. Marline Capones – a Social Media Influencer and Digital Content creator and a Mom dedicated to sharing her fitness journey through workouts, healthy lifestyle and living in the moment.

Q:  What is your idea of beauty?

A: “My idea of beauty is being yourself. I believe that everyone is beautiful in their own unique and special way.

Q: How do you keep yourself fit & maintain a healthy lifestyle?

A: “I keep myself fit by being consistent with my workouts. I eat mostly healthy food and avoid sweets, lalo na ngayon na Mommy na ako, Mas mahirap humanap ng time to workout but even if I have at least 20- 30 mins of workout, I am happy with that”.

Q: What are your tips & recommended workouts for new moms after giving birth?A: “My tips for new Moms would be to take it easy and just enjoy the process. I know that it is not easy to get back in shape after giving birth but you need to push yourself and find time for yourself. Ako, nagstart ako with Core rehab. Isometric movements like plank, side plank, Quadruped plank, glute marches,glute bridge, single leg glute bridge and more. It also depends on how you gave birth but it would be better to consult your OB. A fitness coach is highly recommended too!

Q: For people with an active lifestyle like you, what are your favorite skin care products that you can recommend?

A: “My favorite skincare is Cetaphil! I recommend it because it is suitable for all skin types! 

Q: How do you maintain authenticity in your content?

A: “Actually, this is hard to maintain, especially now, sobrang dami ng magagaling na content creators & influencers! So dapat, consistent ka lang din when it comes to posting, and focus on YOU! When you shift your focus onto yourself, it is then that you are living a life of true authenticity where you are in full control of how you live

Q: Given your platform, how do you empower other women?A: “By trusting myself. By embracing imperfect moments and being open to possibilities. The more that you are open to possibilities, the greater the chance there is of achieving your goals and dreams. Lastly, By focusing on MYSELF. I do not encourage in my platform comparing oneself to other women or other Moms! By focusing on our lives, we can control and achieve. Being the best version of YOU can be achieved not in worrying about others but focusing on oneself!
