Fair Magazine congratulates the newly-crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, the pride of Iloilo City. The lovely queen graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Iloilo Doctors College. This is probably the reason she looked composed and witty in the question and answer of the pageant.
Rabiya whose name coincidentally means princess or queen in Arabic edged out 44 other girls for the prestigious title. With poise, curves, and grace, she also won the Best in Swimsuit. As a lecturer and review coordinator, her advocacy involves education, and believes that it is one’s ticket to success. During this pandemic, Rabiya volunteered to work in a foundation to raise donations for the PPEs of frontliners and even made PPEs with the assistance from the Iloilo Chapter of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Indeed, she has the heart of a true queen.
Rabiya will represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2020 pageant at a venue to be announced later.
